My plans, going forward!

By  |

Hey guys!

If it’s been a few days since you’ve visited, I’m sure you’ve noticed that this blog looks a heck of a lot different than it did last week at this time. I can assure you, it’s still me, just a fancier version of me! I loved the old style. It was cute and an excellent learning experience. Through my learning, I realized what I liked and didn’t like. I was ready to change it up. I got big plans, yo!

Mike spent his entire Sunday revamping it for me so I thought the least I could do was cook for him. I came over in the morning and made us omelets. After breakfast, we dove right into the blog changes. It was so much fun! I enjoyed getting to be a part of it this time, too. I had no idea how much work he put into it! Time flew by and before we knew it, it was dinner time. I started making dinner while he finished up some things. We had grilled chicken kebabs. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but they were scrum-diddly-umptious! Such an easy, delicious meal, with the added bonus of plenty of leftovers!

In the spirit of change, I have some other things in mind for this blog. Now that it looks exactly how it did in my dreams, I want it to have all of the content I’ve dreamt about as well. Right now, I share my thoughts, ideas, stories, experiences and opinions with you, but I want to go a bit further. I want this blog to be a treasure trove of information which is why I’m excited to announce that I’m in the process of working on a NEW section that will surround EATING. Can I get a “Yay food!” Whoop whoop! We all know how much I preach IIFYM so I thought it would be fantastic if I could just have a section completely devoted to it since several of you have now adopted the lifestyle, which I couldn’t be more excited about, by the way!

Here’s what I’m working on:

1. An IIFYM FAQ page.

2. A list of groceries with macros included to make figuring out what to eat easier than ever!

little miss macro plans3. The part I’m most thrilled about, DRUMROLL PLEEEASE… Introducing, “Little Miss Macro: lazy girl meals, made simple!” The idea is to give you simple examples of well rounded macro meals that are so easy, even the lazy don’t have an excuse a.k.a. me, Erin..  😉

(You’ll have to excuse my artwork, I don’t pride myself on being a great artist… >_<)

I’ve also got my YouTube (Chinups and Cupcakes) channel up and running. I WILL be posting my workout videos there when I set a PR but I’m still up in the air as to whether or not I’ll start doing video blogs on the side. What do you guys think?

It will probably take me a couple weeks to get these things up and running, so keep checking back. If you haven’t had the chance yet, take a few minutes to look around the new blog. Feel free to share your favorite post with the buttons at the top of each post that make it easier than ever! I’d really appreciate it. Also, let me know in the comments what you think of the new site and if you have any recommendations at all for topics, foods you’d like Little Miss Macro to put on her list or anything else you’d like to share. Thanks for sticking with me guys, I’m loving the feedback 🙂

Thanks for reading! Until Next time…

I'm an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I worked in a gym setting back in Florida for over 2 years, training one-on-one clients and leading group fitness classes. I absolutely loved it, but once we moved across the country to Colorado, I decided to take the opportunity to pursue a slightly different career! My obsession with exercise and love for writing collided, which is how I became a fitness lifestyle writer.

Nice website! Looking forward to seeing the lazy foods page. I am way too lazy when it comes to food preparation. You should devote an entire page to protein waffles :p

Lol well thank you! You did make it for me, so I’d hope you’d like it. You don’t have to tell me, I know you don’t like food prep ;p I’m not sure what that waffle page would include… waffle pictures? Hmm, could be nice ;p
