10-Minute Indoor Winter Workout

By  |

Hi guys! Time flies, doesn’t it? I had to look back to see when the my last post was published… can you believe it was more than 2 months ago? I can’t. I was back home (in Florida) a couple of weeks ago, where several people proceeded to ask me if I still had the blog. I took that as my queue to get my butt in gear and write a new one! It’s not that I haven’t been writing, I just haven’t been writing for me

Anyway, I’m sitting at the airport in Denver right now. I’m heading back to Tampa this weekend for my future sister-in-law’s bridal shower! I heard it’s a little cooler down there now, but I’m sure it’s nothing like here.

Winter is Coming

The weather in Colorado is beginning to change. Autumn seemed like a blur, and we’ve already had our first, second and third snowfall! If you live in a “snow state” you know how depressing and downright tired the cold weather can make you. I know the idea of going to the gym on most Winter night’s makes me want to curl up into a ball and hide.

When the weather gets really bad, it’s not even that you don’t want to workout, but you physically can’t make it to the gym because the road conditions are so bad. That’s why it is SO important that you have a back-up plan! The day’s that you don’t feel like exercising are the days that you need it most. Breaking a sweat will give you an endorphin rush! Those are your body’s feel good chemicals. We love those!

You’re in luck, because I’m giving you a fast, do-anywhere workout that you can perform from the comfort of your own home! This 10-minute indoor winter workout will blast calories and boost your mood!

To my Florida followers… while it may not snow in your state, I know from experience that sometimes it’s too hot and sticky to leave the A/C. You can perform this workout and get just as much out of it!

I told you it was simple! You can perform it as often as you’d like from just about anywhere. This 10-minute winter workout will warm you up, and slim you down! Break a sweat and kick those Winter blues to the curb!

I’ll be back within the next month with a new workout 🙂

Until next time…

I'm an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I worked in a gym setting back in Florida for over 2 years, training one-on-one clients and leading group fitness classes. I absolutely loved it, but once we moved across the country to Colorado, I decided to take the opportunity to pursue a slightly different career! My obsession with exercise and love for writing collided, which is how I became a fitness lifestyle writer.
